All that glitters isn't gold

Hello Lovelies!

I've been wanting to do a full set of nails with OPI Oy-Another Polish Joke ever since I did my St. Patrick's nails, so I went with some tribal stamping to really show off this fantastic gold to it's full potential!

I got a little messy with my application since this polish takes 3-4 coats for full opacity; this is a tough one to clean up so I had leftover shimmers all around the nail, haha. I stamped with my go-to black creme, Sinful Colors Black On Black with BM-402.

I'm still getting the hang of using my new squishy stamper so each nail looks a little different, somehow I got different levels of opacity every time I stamped, I'll get better with practice hopefully!

Thanks for visiting with me!

  1. It is a super bright yellow gold, isn't it? I love your idea of stamping on it with black! That pattern is great. I have Mundo de Uñas black on its way to me, because I've been so frustrated by the unevenness of stamping with regular black polish. I will have to see what that'll look like on there!

  5. Amazing! What do you use around your cuticle to keep the nail polish off? I seem to always get polish on my cuticles.

    1. I bought a concealer brush from e.l.f, and I just use it dipped in nail polish remover to get rid of mistakes and create a nice clean finish around my cuticle.

  7. Wow, so pretty! I'd like to get into nail art but I'm the sort of person who would scratch it off within ten minutes and also I have tiny stubby nails. You can put about one drop of nail polish on each of them, no joke :).
