Here's the polishes I used:
Wet n wild wild shine french white creme,
Orly ever burgundy,
L.A colors art deco dark blue,
and a eyeliner brush.

Kenneth Jay Lane strawberry necklace

I found this tutorial off pinterest for making a Kenneth Jay Lane strawberry necklace dupe. I really liked how the one on Quiet lion creations looked and I tried to make mine look pretty similar.

Making it was way easier than I thought it would be, it took me less than ten minutes to make minus the baking time.

Blue monochrome gradient

Over at Polish Art Addiction Leslie is having a monochrome nail art contest! I figured I'd take a whack at it, and since today's 365 prompt is to only use blue I picked blue shades.
I sponged three shades of blue lightest to darkest over a light blue. And as an accent nail I made a heart out of rhinestones on my ring finger.

Usually when I have rhinestones or something 3D on my nails I knock/pick them off within a day, but for some reason these have lasted two whole days intact.

Here's the polishes I used:
Lakme color crush 03,
N.Y.C in a new york minute water street blue,
Wet n wild wild shine bijou blue,
L.A colors color craze static electricity,
a sponge,
and Stop nail rhinestones.

Rainbow giraffe nail art

Today's summer challenge's theme is " A day at the zoo". I wanted to do something different than a normal animal print, so I did a rainbow design. I started with a white base and put different colored splotches for the giraffe spots.
I like how it looks, but I'm not sure if it looks giraffe-ey enough.

Periodic table of elements nails

Yesterday I looking at nails on pinterest trying to find something for today, and I found this beauty. This is such an unique idea that I had to try it on my own nails.
The only difference in mine is that I have all the nails base's the same color. I really like how it came out, but I wish my numbers had come out clearer. But I think I'm improving since I probably wouldn't have been able to do these a couple months ago.

Here's the numbers of the elements: 84 3 16 1

The princess bride: Buttercup & Westley nail art

When I first saw the buttercup theme I immediately thought of The princess bride. I painted Buttercup on my middle finger and Westley in his mask on my ring finger.
I recently got a makeup brush travel case from the dollar tree, and I just realized the eyeliner brush is perfect for nail art! I'm was really surprised that I could paint such thin and precise lines with it. This is my first time using it as a nail brush and I did all the details on these nails with it.

Here's the polishes I used:

Pink pig nails

I found these nails on simply rin while I was looking for ideas for Pink Wednesday. Mine are a little less rounded but besides that they're almost the same as hers. I'm still attached to my fishtail braid nails so I did these on a friend's nails instead of mine. I made the noses slightly smaller than I meant to, so I had to use a needle to get the black slits on them.

Here's the polishes I used:
L'oreal grow strong clear,
Wet n wild wild shine lavender creme,
Wet n wild wild shine black creme,
Oil of olay cafe latte,
L.A colors art deco pink,
a dotting tool,

Fishtail braid nail art

I found these on amber did it a couple days ago. It took me three tries to get it right, but I finally prevailed! Instead of starting with a base of a solid color I just did a small circle at the top and did the striping over that. I tried it with the base once and it didn't come out that well.

Here's the polishes I used:
Wet n wild wild shine clear nail protector,
L.A colors art deco silver,
L.A colors art deco metallic pink,

Barber shop pole nail art

Today's 365 prompt is to make something with the things you would find in a first aid kit. Since the red and white on a barber pole represent bloody bandages I figured that counts as something you would find in a first aid kit. I started with a base coat of white and striped red and blue over it.

Here's the polishes I used:
Wet n wild wild shine clear nail protector,
Wet n wild wild shine french white creme,
L.A colors art deco dark blue,

Sisters quilt show nail art

Tomorrow I'm going to the quilt show in sisters! I wanted to do some quilt block nails, so I flipped through "The encyclopedia of pieced quilt patterns by Barbara Brackman", and picked out a couple I thought I would be able to translate into nail form.

Here are the names of the blocks: My thumb is a novel star block, my index is a joseph's coat block, my middle finger is a arkansas star block, my ring finger is a snowflake block, and my pinkie is a spool block. I like how all of them came out except for my pinkie. My spool got a bit sloppy so it's not as cleanly done as the rest.

Here's the polishes I used:
Wet n wild wild shine clear nail protector,
Wet n wild wild shine french white creme,
L.A colors art deco dark polish,
L.A colors art deco sea foam green,
