Fish scale nail art

The last time I painted a fish scale style mani I really liked how it came out, so today I'm trying out a different spin on it. I started with a base of dark blue, and with a dotting tool I layered dots on top of each other to get the scales. I used three different polishes for the scales to get a mottled look and I'm really liking how it came out!

Here's the polishes I used:
Wet n wild wild shine clear nail protector,
Wet n wild wild shine metallica,
Wet n wild wild shine caribbean frost,
Orly star of bombay,
Pure ice A-list,
and a dotting tool.
Thanks for reading!
