day 24 christmas tree bunny

I made something that was all green today. We still have our Christmas tree hanging around so I used it as my only medium. I snipped a bunch of branches and arranged them into a bunny shape.
I've decided that I'm only going to blog the really exciting things I make in the 365 project. But I'm still doing them all and writing them down in the book. Some things I make in a hurry so their not as polished as I hope they would be. So the things I post will be the exciting things from now on.

day 23 dancing cookies

We finished a box of vanilla wafers today and they turned out to be just what I needed. I made this all out of the one box ,duct-tape and markers. I needed to use stuff that was in our recycle bin today and I think this worked nicely.

day 21 ten word love story

I wrote a ten word love story today."Two people meet, there's a spark it turns to flame".

day 17 opera mask

I made this mask today. I used a sleeping mask as a shape to base it off of. I stamped green leaves on it and attached a peacock feather to the side. And this is my little brother modeling it for me. He was very excited about getting his picture taken. I used fabric over a piece of cardboard cut into a mask shape to form it.

day 16 scrubby stamp

I cut out this star shape in a scrubby and put three different colors on it. Then I put it on my notebook of happy things. I think it looks like the star is jumping around. I also think it looks a lot like mustard too.

day 15 money palm tree

I made this palm/money tree today. I glued the money on the wire branches and put it in a soda cap of clay. I cut the money out of green construction paper and stuck the wires in a ball of clay that I stuck on the top. I used a old knitting needle as the trunk.

day 14 clay pinecone

I made this pine cone out of clay and colored it with a brown marker. I cut little half circles and put them on a pine cone form. And it has a little stem too.

day 13 tea monster

I made the Loch Ness monster out of tea leaves in the bottom of my tea mug. I used my fingers to arrange the leaves. It could also be a golf club or a foot if you turn it upside down. I used raspberry tea to make it.

day 12 camo

Today I made something that blended into the background. I cut out a leaf with holes out of green construction paper and laid it on the same type of paper. So it blends in really good.

day 11 varied thrush

Today I picked something I'm comfortable with and used my non-dominant hand. I'm right handed so I used my left. I think I'm pretty good at drawing so I drew this bird. I had looked it up earlier because I'd never seen one before and it was really pretty. It's a varied thrush. I took a picture of it in the bird book so you could see what it looks like in real life.

Day 10 water shirt

Today my inspiration was water. I dabbed water onto the shirt with my fingers and a eyedropper. I think it really embraces the water very nicely. It was also raining today so I had a very good atmosphere.

banana art day 9

So today I used my breakfast before I ate it so I carved little pictures into my giant banana. He has little arms and a face too.

key book day 8

Today I was to make something using a old book. I pasted pages of the book itself on the cover and I put a chain with a key on the cover also. I found the chain along with a couple charms broken in the street. I think I've helped it along quite a bit.
I cut a compartment in the back of the book with a craft knife too. I used modge podge to apply all the stuff.
